Job Description

A fresh graduate out of campus with passion to make a mark in System engineering in areas such as system administration, Technical support, server operations, networking and cloud  support will be the ideal candidate for this position.

Interested candidates required to relocate to Bangalore and ready to work in a rotational shifts to support various businesses/customers across the organization.

Preference would be given for applicants who have undergone formal training at premier institutes like Jetking, Rooman, IIHT or any such institutes.

Core Compeetencies:

  • Technical Support-aka-Triage:

Timely monitoring and routing of tickets/requests to the right queue via ITSM ticketing tool. Ensure that all incidents are handled effectively in line with department’s SLA.

 

  • Networking/NOC
  • Assist with the installation and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems.
  • Configures systems to user environments.

 

  • System Administration:

Maintenance, upgrades, administration and documentation of server systems within the Organization and perform regular housekeeping tasks on all major systems. This will include assisting the seniors in configuring and monitoring the backup processes on all servers, and carrying out restore operations as required.

 

  • Documentation and procedures:

Working with senior system administrators to review and write as necessary, documentation for operational, system and user procedures and guidelines on all major supported Organization systems.A knowledge on ITIL process is preferred.

Softskills:

A very good communication to interact with our US customers and professionally resolve the tickets with in the SLA

Technical Skills:

  • Servers: Very good understanding of Windows servers 2012 onwards and a basic knowledge of any ofthe cloud services,
  • operating system either windows 10 or 11, some understanding of installation and un-installation of applications, configurations,
  • Networking: Basics of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, router,s LAN/WAN,
  • security/access management: Basic understanding of the tools such as Web filters, ADS, firewalls and anti-virous,
  • Knowledge of VB, Power Shell, Pearl or Batch scripting will be treated as added advantage.

 

Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum of 15 years of formal education – Graduate in Computer applications / engineering

Technical Certifications like MCSE, MCITP, MCP, CCNA will be treated as added advantage.
