Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Sourcing Lead Consultant to join a centralized global procurement function. This is an individual contributor role focused on the Information Technology Software category, working closely with senior stakeholders and category leadership.
The role involves leading high-complexity sourcing initiatives, developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost optimization while ensuring quality, compliance, sustainability, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Support execution of category strategies for IT Software and related technologies.
Lead high-complexity sourcing projects end-to-end, including strategy, negotiations, and supplier selection.
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, market trends, and sourcing opportunities.
Develop and manage a procurement project pipeline across multiple categories and initiatives.
Use industry benchmarking and future trend analysis to improve supplier performance and sourcing models.
Drive value tracking, KPIs, SLAs, and category performance reporting.
Lead supplier business reviews and manage contract compliance and performance improvement plans.
Execute source-to-pay processes ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Support demand management and category adherence across the organization.
Required Experience (Must Have)
10+ years of experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing.
Strong experience in Category Management and global procurement roles.
Proven experience leading high-complexity sourcing projects.
Experience in large global organizations with accountability for value delivery.
Hands-on experience with North America-based stakeholders (preferred).
Experience working in an agile environment.
Required Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Business / Engineering or equivalent.
Professional certifications preferred:
CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management)
C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager)
