Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Engineering Manager / Lead Software Engineer with 15–18 years of experience in full-stack and distributed systems development.
This role requires a strong technical leader capable of architecting scalable digital platforms, modernizing legacy systems, integrating AI-driven capabilities, and leading geographically distributed engineering teams. The candidate will be accountable for product success, platform stability, architectural decisions, and KPI-driven outcomes.
Core Technical Expertise Required
Backend & Distributed Systems
- 15–18 years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and SQL
- Strong experience in designing scalable microservices architectures
- Expertise in event-driven and cloud-native systems
- Experience with ETL tools (Ab-initio) for data orchestration
- Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Spark and Hadoop
Front-End Development
- Strong proficiency in React
- Experience building reusable, modular, scalable UI components
- Integration of front-end with complex backend services
Cloud & DevOps
- Proven experience in Azure cloud-native architectures (preferred)
- CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices
- Experience in observability, monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization
- Production ownership and reliability engineering
AI & Emerging Technologies
- Experience integrating LLMs (Large Language Models)
- Hands-on knowledge of LangChain
- Experience building Agentic AI workflows
- Deployment of AI-driven services into production environments

Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Design and implement scalable microservices and high-volume data pipelines
- Lead modernization of legacy systems into event-driven, cloud-native architectures
- Architect digital products using modern frameworks, tools, and methodologies
- Own production applications and ensure platform reliability and performance
AI & Platform Innovation
- Design and implement intelligent agents using LangChain and LLM frameworks
- Integrate AI capabilities to automate workflows and enhance platform intelligence
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to align technical and business goals
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across geographies
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor distributed engineering teams
- Provide guidance in planning, task definition, reporting, and problem-solving
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and structured reviews
DevOps & Operational Excellence
- Champion CI/CD, security, observability, and performance best practices
- Implement monitoring and performance testing frameworks
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and security standards
Required Qualifications
- 15–18 years of relevant engineering experience
