Job Description
Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and ethical Content Moderator to ensure that all user-generated content complies with platform policies, community guidelines, and legal regulations. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and respectful online environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and moderate user-generated content (text, images, videos, etc.) based on predefined policies and community guidelines.
Identify and remove harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content including spam, hate speech, nudity, violence, and misinformation.
Accurately tag content to support machine learning and automation systems.
Maintain high accuracy and productivity standards while reviewing large volumes of content.
Provide feedback and report policy gaps or violations to relevant teams.
Stay updated on internal policies, local cultural sensitivities, and emerging content trends.
Escalate complex or sensitive issues to senior moderators or legal/compliance teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital content, and internet culture.
Good judgment, emotional intelligence, and ability to handle sensitive content.
Excellent reading and comprehension skills in [Language(s) – English, regional language if applicable].
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail.
Comfortable working in rotational shifts, including weekends or night shifts if required.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline .
